Republican at-large Councilman David Oh is preparing for his post as chair of the Committee on Global Opportunities and Creative Innovative Economy -a new committee which deals with foreign governments and international relations.

Councilman talks business with South Korean Ambassador

Republican at-large Councilman David Oh is preparing for his post as chair of the Committee on Global Opportunities and Creative Innovative Economy -a new committee which deals with foreign governments and international relations.

Oh contacted Kim Sook, Ambassador of South Korea to the United Nations to discuss trade and business opportunities between Philadelphia and South Korea and the two are currently meeting in New York City.

According to his staff, Oh is hoping to encourage more businesses to start in the city. Oh has reportedly expressed interest in seeing Philadelphia enter the global economy.
