Cops arrest Occupy Philly member

POSTED: Tuesday, November 15, 2011, 11:28 AM

Police arrested a 47-year-old man earlier today after he was accused of assaulting a woman at Occupy Philly Dilworth Plaza camp site.

Chief Inspector Joseph Sullivan said the 45-year-old victim told police the man punched and slapped her shortly before 1 a.m.

Investigators found the man several hours later and arrested him. Sullivan said the victim and the man who is accused of attacking her are both homeless. Both told police they were a part of Occupy Philly.

At some point overnight, Sullivan said, the walls below Dilworth Plaza were tagged with fresh graffiti -- and feces.

"The sanitary condition [below the plaza] are out of control," Sullivan said. "It makes you want to throw up."

Bring in about 5 fire trucks and hose them out. Let our people who were suppose to start jobs there today get to work. The holidays are comming and I am sure they need cash for their families.

The Occukooks will blame it on "outsiders". They are pure as the driven snow.

Don't stop there. Arrest them all if they don't agree to move within a reasonable amount of time.

Give them notice right now that they are to be out by midnight. If not, move them out or arrest them in the middle of the night and have the plaza disinfected by morning.

I think we should do nothing until the day the Dilworth project is going to start and see what the union workers do when they can't start working. That'll get rid of them.

I agree with most of the Occupy Wall street statements about 'Wall Street,' but this is turning into nonsense.
