City Controller To Endorse Nutter For Mayor

The hits just keep on coming. City Controller Alan Butkovitz will endorse Mayor Nutter tomorrow. Here's the release:

BUTKOVITZ TO ENDORSE MAYOR NUTTER RE-ELECTION BID Announcement tomorrow morning, (Tues., Jan. 11) outside MSB Building

WHO: Philadelphia City Controller Alan Butkovitz
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter

WHAT: Controller Butkovitz announces his support for Nutter's re-election

TUESDAY, Jan. 11
11:15 A.M.

WHERE: Outside Philadelphia Municipal Services Building
1401 John F. Kennedy Boulevard

NOTES: Serving his second term as the city's 'chief fiscal watchdog,' Alan Butkovitz was first elected City Controller in 2005. Tomorrow he plans to cite the Mayor's “honesty,” “openness” and “willingness to work together” – as reasons why Nutter is “ a clear choice for a second term.” The Controller's endorsement follows earlier ones for Nutter by Congressman Chaka Fattah, Congressman Robert Brady, Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz and Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams.
