City launches new Parks & Rec website

The city has launched a new Parks & Recreation website that allows residents to find facilities near them, plan events in city spaces and join community groups.

It's designed like the main city website and combines the features that were previously found separately on the websites for the Fairmount Park Commission and the Recreation Department. Those two agencies combined in 2010 to form Parks & Rec.

So rejoice, citizens of Pawnee!
