Brady opponent to fight social ills instead

As Heard in the Hall reported today, Dr. Keith Leaphart has decided not to challenge U.S. Rep. Bob Brady for his congressional seat.

Leaphart's spokesman told us today that he will instead work on developing a prisoner re-entry program funded by philanthropist H.F. Gerry Lenfest. The effort -- which will be in collaboration with the city -- will likely provide workforce training.
