At his first official re-election campaign event today, Mayor Nutter downplayed a report in today's Inquirer which said state Sen. Anthony Williams was considering a run for mayor.

At his first official re-election campaign event today, Mayor Nutter downplayed a report in today's Inquirer which said state Sen. Anthony Williams was considering a run for mayor.

"He has in the past expressed his suppport for me. Certainly in this political season, many people will approach a number of folks about the upcoming race. He's a man of his word and has indicated to me he'll be supporting me," Nutter said.

At today's event District Attorney Seth Williams endorsed Nutter.
