He may be a household name in New Jersey and Philly, but nationally Christie is mostly an unknown. A Gallup poll released today shows 52 percent of Americans don't have an opinion of Jersey's gov. Of those who do, Christie gets a 27 percent favorability rating and a 22 percent unfavorability rating.

The poll tested the names of four men - Christie, presidential brother/former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, reality show star/real estate king Donald Trump and Gen. David Petraeus. Christie, Bush and Petraeus have said they are not running for president; Trump, on the other hand, is very actively talking about running, and he questions President Obama's citizenship every chance he gets.

Christie comes in dead last when it comes to favorability. On the flip side, unfavorability ratings for Bush and Trump are far higher.
