Christie: Obama is a 'poser and a preener'

Gov. Christie apparently aimed direct fire at the president at a $10 million National Republican Congressional Committee fundraiser Wednesday night. The press was banned from attending, as per the NRCC, but Politico reports that a conservative writer tweeted that Christie called Obama a "poser and a preener" in the keynote speech. Full story is here. We're not sure how he backed that statement up, if at all, but the Christie Chronicles loves alliterations - so he gets points for that. The gov still insists he's not running for president.

In other news, Christie's favorite rock star apparently does NOT love him back. Bruce Springsteen, whom Christie has seen in concert 125 times, wrote a letter to the editor this week in the Asbury Park Press in response to a story that showed how the gov's budget cuts hurt the poor. Check it out here.

And finally, this viral video has suddenly gotten the world's attention. Shot after November 2009 elections, it features 4-year-old Jesse Koczon, who is upset after watching his parents vote that he can't be governor because he's "too small." The gov has viewed the video, and responded with this tweet: Don’t worry Jesse, people gave plenty of reasons why I couldn't be Governor, though being too small wasn't one of them.
