Busy day in Trenton! Thousands of cops and fireghters are here for what is billed as massive rally, the Democrats are planning some intriguing moves in the Legislature.
Meanwhile, I'm on my way to a Gov. Christie press conference. So, got anything you want me to ask the gov? Leave your question in the comments section, and I'll try to fire it in his direction.
If you need to bone up on what's been going on lately, consider three stories from today's Inquirer. Just click on these links:
- My story about how Christie says he only has "love" for collective bargaining, and is totally psyched for tough negotiations with the state employee unions.
- Colleague Paul Nussbaum reports that Pa. Gov. Corbett appoints himself chairman of the DRPA, vows to work with Christie to clean up the agency that takes your tolls over the Ben Franklin and Walt Whitman Bridges.
- And colleague Maya Rao reports how a big school construction project in Camden was put on hold by the Christie administration -- even though on the administration's official score sheet, it scored far better than other projects approved elsewhere in the state.
