Seeking the skinny on underwear theft

North Coventry Township police are probing a spate of thefts, most of which involve valuables grabbed from unlocked vehicles, and one that targeted an underwear purveyor.

The unmentionables' theft - 160 pair of underwear valued at $1,840 - occurred Dec. 1  at the Victoria's Secret store in the Coventry Mall, police said. The vehicle thefts have occurred over several weeks in various locations, prompting police to distribute flyers reminding people to keep doors locked. Anyone with information about any of the thefts is asked to call police at 610-323-8360.
