Friday, Harrah's Chester introduces a new poker tournament as it debuts the Philly Poker Championship.

Spread over 18 events and 10 days, the PPC will climax Aug. 6 and 7 with a $500 buy-in main event featuring a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. Already commited is legend-of-the-felt Scotty Nguyen, who will not only compete in the big game, but host meet-and-greets and other promotional events.

Tonight's performance by Elvis Costello & The Imposters at Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa has been called off due to illness, according to a release from the gaming hall. A make-up date is in the works, but tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase.
