Body found in Delaware River identified; second swimmer still missing

Two men who went for a dip in the Delaware River this past week - one on the Philadelphia side of the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge and one on the Jersey side - have met different watery fates.

A Palmyra man seen walking into the river around 7 a.m. Sunday was found dead about 15 minutes later by police.  Yesterday, police identified him as Tyrone Taylor Jr., a 27-year-old man who had lived in the Harbour condominiums.  Police said foul play is not suspected.

Less than 8 hours earlier, a Philadelphia man went missing after he jumped off a fishing boat on the opposite side of the bridge.  At one point, there was confusion as to whether the two were the same guy.

The Marine Unit of the Philadelphia Police Department said today that they are still searching for the second man.
