Two people were hospitalized Thursday after a crash occurred between a school bus and a delivery truck in Newtown Township in Bucks County.

The bus driver and an adult aide were the only two people aboard the bus when it crashed. It was thought that the driver of the bus was airlifted to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. No children were on the bus.

The bus was a First Student bus, which is contracted by local school districts. It wasn’t immediately clear which district the bus was working for at the time. The truck is Empire Delivery Inc. with a Pennsylvania license plate.

A driver and passenger were aboard the truck during the crash. Both were unhurt. They were wearing T-shirts for Mealey's Furniture.
