Garden of Reflection schedules 2nd annual remembrance of 9/11

Pennsylvania's official memorial for the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks will hold its second annual ceremony marking the event on the evening of the anniversary.

The event, held at the Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield, will start at 7 p.m. and conclude about 7:45 p.m.

"We will light a candle, say a prayer, join in song, place a flower and be together as a community," according to Garden of Reflection press release.

Guests will include Bill Sliney, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) National Operations Manager, who on his first day, ordered the nationwide air closure in response to the attacks. Satellite radio and MSNBC host Michael Smerconish and Comcast news anchor Lynn Doyle will also be there.
