Cops auctioning off cars, construction equipment, a Madonna comic book

Oh the things criminals spend their money on, like a Madonna comic book or a Corona "Unplug Your Summer" acoustic guitar.

The Bucks County District Attorney's Office is clearing out some of the wares it has seized over the years, putting them up for auction on municibid.com.

Items include televisions, DVD players and tools, such as a chainsaw. The auction is also offering an abundance of comic books, pro basketball jerseys and even a pair of jean shorts that have several NBA logos sewn into them (no bids on that one so far).

Bristol Township and Lower Southampton are also selling several used police cars. A bid for a 2007 Crown Vic is currently at $100. A backhoe is also up for auction, with the highest bid currently at $3,000.

You can search municibid.com for other local governments auctioning off property.
