Bucks coroner confirms body belongs to missing tuber

A man's body that washed up on an Island in the Delaware River in Lower Makefiled on Saturday was that of a tuber who went missing near Tinicum last month, the Bucks County Coroner confirmed today.

Dr. Joseph Campbell said his office used dental records to conclude the body belonged to Anthony Del Prete, 30, of Herndon, Va.

Del Prete went missing on Aug. 10 during a tubing trip with friends. Police believed strong under currents caused by recent flooding had swept him away.
