A Bensalem man died this morning in a motorcycle crash on I-95 in Bristol Township, shutting down the highway’s northbound lanes for a few hours, Pennsylvania State Police said.
James Curran, 46, was driving his Harley Davidson near the New Falls Road overpass when he slowed down because of traffic congestion, state police said. The driver of a Ford Focus, Suzanne Skelly, 21, of Palmyra, N.J., then struck Curran’s bike, pushing it into a concrete barrier, according to state police.
Curran, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. Skelly, who suffered minor injuries, was charged with a traffic violation, driving too fast for conditions, state police said.
