Veterans ID discount cards offered around county
Free card provides discounts of 5 to 20 percent at more than 230 businesses.
Military veterans can get a free identification card that provides discounts at more than 230 Bucks County businesses, at five locations around the county starting Thursday.
More than 5,040 cards have been issued since the program started in November, and the staff of the Recorder of Deeds will make the cards available at the following locations and dates:

Veterans can also get a card weekdays, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Recorder of Deeds office in the county courthouse, 55 E. Court St., Doylestown. An original DD-214 form is required.
With the card, veterans can get discounts of 5 to 20 percent on merchandise and services. Participating businesses are listed on the county website, www.BucksCounty.org.
