Two sought in Bensalem drug store burglary

Bensalem Township police are asking for help in identifying two suspects who broke into the Grand Plaza Pharmacy early Wednesday and stole Oxycodone and other prescription pills.

Police released a video Thursday showing the suspects prying open the front door of the drug store at 965 Bristol Pike about 3:15 a.m. and filling two small trash cans with pills from the pharmacists’ shelves.

The video shows one of the suspects taking bottles from the shelves, while the other suspect goes through drawers behind the counter. One drawer was yanked open and the contents emptied into a container.

The value of the drugs was not known, police said.

The suspects’ faces appeared to be covered. One was wearing a dark jacket with lighter-colored sleeves. The other was wearing a light baseball cap and shorts.

The video is posted on You Tube and can be seen below or at www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKSkz8PA1Sw&feature=plcp.
