The States of NBA Titles

The Cavaliers could add another state to the NBA's toll call of champions.

Should the Cleveland Cavaliers defeat the Golden State Warriors, Ohio would become the 15th different state to have an NBA champion play within its borders.

The last state to crown an NBA titlist for the first time was Texas in 1994, when the Houston Rockets took the crown. The Lone Star State has captured seven more titles (among three franchises) since then.
