The New Size of the Eagles

My, how your Eagles have grown ...

"I have noticed that there are a lot bigger guys here this year," said Eagles' second-year offensive lineman Dennis Kelly after one of the May OTAs. Well, give the young man a star ... and a big one at that, since he is 6-8 himself.

It turns out that the 90 guys who make up the beginning full roster of Chip Kelly's first training camp are about three-quarters of an inch taller and seven pounds heavier than the 90 who started what would be the final Camp Andy Reid.

The defense has "grown" moreso than the offense. And among specific positions, only the quarterback has "shrunk."

Stay out of the way of the linebackers; they are up an inch-and-a-half and 12-plus pounds.
