Free For Villanova

Villanova Thursday night came within one Daniel Ochefu miss of a perfect performance from the foul line. And then on Sunday, it was Ryan Arcidiacono with the lone miscue.

If either had he made his miss, this Villanova club would have become the fifth team to be perfect from the charity stripe (with 15 or more attempts) in an NCAA Tournament game. The 1988 Wildcats (17-17) are among the four that have done it. The others: 1971 Fordham (22-22), 2003 Kentucky (18-18), 1985 Dayton (17-17 vs. Villanova).
