The Flyers have two things going for them as they head into Madison Square Garden Tuesday night to face the Rangers. The goaltender is playing well and their best skater is having the second-best regular season stretch of his career.

Claude Giroux has 15 points in his last 10 games, during which the Flyers are 6-4. He had a stretch of 11 games last season (sandwiching four games he missed with a concussion), during which he rang up 19 points and the club went 8-3.
