If you old enough to remember the Phillies' consecutive NLCS losses in 1976 (to the Reds), 1977 and 1978 (Dodgers), you don't need us to remind you how frustrating they were.
If you are not old enough to remember them (or have chosen not to remember them), we'll leave it quick and simple: The Phils went 2-9 over the three postseasons, and had a lead in seven of the the nine losses.
