Please do not sign Jeff Ruland, I mean Andrew Bynum to a long term contract. It will just end badly and set the franchise back years. Plus, I can not take 6 years of updates on the condition of his knees and when we can expect him to play.
The only silver lining is that Dwight Howard is working hard to make sure we feel like we got the good end of the trade. lostInPhilly
There is nothing the 76ers can say to convince me that this guy will play more than 5 games in a 76ers uniform. Yes, he is finally doing some on court activity. But even if activated, how can we expect him to stay on the court? This guy got hurt bowling a few months ago... FetchDixon
...any day now. ....he's gonna be ready to play ...any day... justacarpenter
Andrew Byumum will NEVER play more than 30 games for any team in the NBA ever again. He's PLAYING THESE PEOPLE FOR FOOLS. His knees are shot. He will play 5 or 6 games at the end of the season to "prove" he's healthy. Some idiot will sign him to a 50 million dollar contract. And his knees will give out the next day. Watch. warrentheape
Sick of looking and hearing Bynum..Who cares about the hair, just get well and get on the court. phillyceltic
The Sixers are at best an unpredictable team from night to night. Everyone does like Bynum and they did not like Brand but they were a solid team because of Brand and what he brought to the court. If Bynum is too injured to play, then trade for a big man. Personally, I think that Bryant destroyed Bynum psychic attitude. Bynum is a great talent but it remains to be seen who bring it out of him. I would try to sign him on a one year contract. No team can go more because he has too many ifs. What is AI doing anyway? jpelle36
Fan#1: Hey whats up!
Fan#2: Nothing.
Fan#1: Did u hear?
Fan#2: hear what?
Fan #1: The sixers are going to sign Bynum to a big multi year contract..and they say his health won't be a issue any further and he will no longer be bowling as well..this time its a can't miss! trust me.
Fan #3 (aka male): Oh yea well I heard Wil E Coyote has a new ACME road runner gizmo thats guaranteed to catch him this time!!...been waiting a long time for this one! male
Future??!! What about the present? There should be a law that says when a stiff like this oaf doesn't work he shouldn't get paid! vietnamvet
He has no past with the sixers, and he has no future.
His knees were in bad shape when he got to Philly.
He didn't want to play in Philly.
He will not come back to Philly, nor should Philly be interested in him.

What Bynum is doing is nothing new. He doesnt want to be here so he says he's hurt so he gets paid (8th most in NBA) but doesnt have to play. But because he will be a free agent he must play before the end of the season to show now he's not a risk to sign. He will play good after the break and then toss his sixer jersey in the garbage. Thx you sixer mgt! AlwaysRight
People like to talk about how knowledgeable and passionate Philly fans are. How about Crybabies! Management did what they could with what they had and took a chance on AB, just because it's not working out doesn't mean its a bad management group. And those of you saying Bynum is stealing money, do you really believe he would not prefer good knees and the ability to play? bilmarz
Still waiting for DeAndre Cole to take the court. "What's up with that" Drew777
Bring Wilt back! BIGEGLFAN
Who was that big acquisition the Sixers signed? Wasn't his name Andrew Bynum's? What ever happened to him? neozon
