I must agree with iggles - he knew it was illegal and still took it. Now he - and us - must suffer until he gets back. It could be worse: would anybody prefer Brian Schneider over Erik Kratz for those 25 games?

Now his stats come into question...It is obvious no one was/is advising him as all he needed was a prescription even after the first failed test.

Supposedly there are at least 140 MLB players on that prescription.

His lack of knowledge will cost him over $700k in salary.

If he still needs them get a prescription.

And Amaro said it should'nt affect the Phillies efforts to sign him to a contract extension.........maybe the Phillies can do "a night out at the park " with Ruiz, Lance Armstrong and Lindsay Lohan signing autographed rehab vouchers to the first 10,000 fans that show up juiced.

There is no shame or blame in baseball anymore. You get caught, you make a statement through your agent saying you are sorry and everybody moves on.

When will they ever learn? Meanwhile, Pete Rose is still out of the Hall for life. Where's the justice?

"Who you calling a Ho?" Ho - there are currently 105 MLB'ers with a PUE allowing them to use it. Candidly - love your idea about the night out - laughed till I cried. One question: what, exactly would be IN a "rehab voucher?"
