I don't think anybody who was at Game 3 of the Flyers/Pens series can agree with these assertions. Flyers/Pens could be the best rivalry in sports, let alone Philly. I drove to Pitt for Game1, and they hate us just as much as we do. They have superstars we love to hate, we have superstars they love to hate. They don't like the philosophy of our team, we don't like the philosophy of their team. Flyer/Pens game 3 may go down as the most best game ever played in WFC (especially considering crowd participation).

Flyers/Pens without a doubt, this year took that rivalry to epic heights.

There is no right or wrong answer to that question. People will say the Flyers-Penguins, but it could be because its still fresh in our minds. Four months ago leading up to the Winter Classic I could've asked 100 people and the consensus would've said the Rangers. 4 years ago everyone was saying it was Phillies-Mets. And of course we always say its Eagles-Cowboys or Eagles-Giants depending on the week of the season and the standings.

Eagles/Cowboys? People in Dallas don't care, which means it's not a rivalry.

All time rivalry in my opine there are 2: Flyers/Rangers starting with Dave Schultz / Dale Rolfe nearly 40 years ago- by far the most hatred over the years. Second and it hasn't been good in a long time was Sixers / Celtics.............Eagles rivalries are not as strong as the Redskins are w/Dallas or the Giants for that matter.

I couldn't agree more, than with the opinion provided above me by rick773. Right on rick, and keep that Dallas hate. When I dislike another team, I usually have nothing to say about the community or the city the team is from. But Dallas is a city you can hate, especially if you've been there as I have. New York is disgusting in all sports, but Dallas is a Team, and a City you can hate.

As the post game MLB commentators said last night, "The Phillies are the most overrated team in baseball with little or no hope to improve".

Please remember this when the Phillies go to the playoffs again. You are probably one of the tards who ripped the flyers all year and now are praising everything about them. nothing worse than fair-weathered "fans"
