I challenge anyone to look at the history of the Philly News Media and count the stories, of how the athletes are not good enough, need to be released, traded or are of unsavory character. Its no wonder to me why the fans are so angry. There is no good reason to write a story of Vick being "most hated." What possible good comes of that article.— keithf35- Croozn, interesting point.
For most of us dogs are simply happy loving creatures.
I can understand two men, enraged, fighting and killing.
I cannot understand hurting a dog and laughing when it yelps in pain.
Vick is one cold human— 1000hugs - Dumb Lurie made Vick the Face of the Eagles...how dumb is that to give the awful Vick $100 million and made him the leader of the Eagles...and divide the Eagles fan base...and Vick FAILED MISERABLY for 3 years and was an awful 2-14 last season.— jim35

- hunting and breeding livestock for food is far different than dog fighting. Why is that so hard to understand? Also, whats with the false equivalence of disliking Vick but somehow accepting Ray Lewis. They are mutually exclusive and nobody knows if Ray Lewis actually killed anyone, he wasnt convicted. Part of the plea for the payoff was to end the trial to save his career. They didnt even have a case for murder against Lewis, so some might want to read up a bit. I wont dismiss the obstruction or missing evidence however, shady indeed. I just dont want Vick as a QB on my favorite team, hes just not that good. Im amazed after so many failing yrs, fans still want to see him start. Seems like they are more fans of a player than of a team, their never ending excuses for poor play are amazing.— peteike
