Trump attacks 'clowns' hosting MSNBC's morning show

After a week of discipline, Donald Trump unleashed one of his trademark nasty tweets - this time at the hosts of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program.

For a week, he read from Teleprompters, sharpened his message and stayed on it – but Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump apparently still has an itchy Twitter finger.

Minutes later, he fired away again, threatening to out Brzezinski and co-host, former Florida GOP congressman Joe Scarborough as lovers.

Ironically, Morning Joe was accused of helping to create the Trump phenomenon during the primaries, with the hosts frequently inviting him on for telephone interviews. In recent months, Scarborough, in particular, has come out against Trump.

The social-media outburst came the day after new campaign manager Kellyanne Conway insisted that Trump does not engage in personal attacks. "He doesn't hurl personal insults," Conway said on ABC News This Week Sunday.

That might come as news to "Lyin Ted" Cruz, "Little Marco" Rubio and "Crooked Hillary" Clinton and dozens of others.
