Romney schedules rally in Valley Forge, Pa.

POSTED: Wednesday, September 26, 2012, 11:10 PM

Republican Mitt Romney, already in Philadelphia to raise campaign cash, is planning a public rally Friday at Valley Forge Military Academy & College in suburban Wayne.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania swing will be Romney's first visit to the state since mid July, when he held a rally at a a shale-drilling related business in Westmoreland County coupled with a fundraiser in Pittsburgh.

Romney's return comes amid speculation that Pennsyvlania has fallen off his campaign's target list as a top-tier battelground state. Recent polls have show President Obama with a lead in the low double digits in the state, though top Republicans say their own polling has the race much closer and not they have not given up being competitive.

Friday's event at the military school is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m., with the doors opening at 9:30 a.m., Republicans said. People interested in attending are asked to RSVP at www.mittromney.com/states/Pennsylvania.

It is very symbolic that the lier and coward in chief will show up at Washington's Valley Forge.

Romney parked his money in Cayman and Switzerland to avoid paying for Iraq war

Romney parks in sons in Wall Street to steal money while their peers fight in Iraq after 9/11

Romney parks himself in Paris white others fought in Vietnam.

Romney should not sully the ground that soaked in brave soldiers blood.

Obama victory will be almost nothing if congress is not liberated from the GOP crooks.

The voter registration and voting drives need to intensify, rather than being happy with a partial victory.

Seedling - it's okay to lie about a lack of security/intelligence at our embassy and blame it on a video? Everybody and their brother knew exactly what happenned. An al-queda flag continues to fly over our embassy, while the big O chats it up on the View.

Do you ever watch the REAL news? The embassy attack that killed our ambassador was Al-Queda. The Libyans love America. The protests in Egypt and across the Middle East are the result of the loony right wing fringe in those countries that never had freedom of speech, and don't fully understand that free speech means all speech. Right wing wackos are no more representative of the Arab world than Rush Limbaugh represents average American beliefs.

Kilgore = you are right. Also Ambassador Stevens was known for getting "Too close" to the people thus exposing himself to danger as a matter of habit. As a former Peace Corps Volunteer who served in an Arab country, he knew the culture and the language to the point where he felt he could get as close as possible. He was a rare gem to have in the field of diplomacy.

He did not speak at "Washington's Valley Forge." Valley Forge Military is Valley Forge in name only. It is in Wayne, and over a half hour drive to VF National Park..
It teaches values more in tune with Generals Howe and Cornwallis than George Washington. I know. I went to that school.

Oh Lord. os he going to tell us now about how he got Romneycare passed? Spends the whole campaign running from it, now he brings it out to tell us he cares. What a joke. Two days after saying we can all use the ER for medical coverage. Can this fool be any more of an idiot?

You're right, Ryan, and all of these RepubliCons are freaking out because they know that if President Obama wins reelection, it probably means at least 12 more years because Hillary wins in 2016.

Let's hope he can find Valley Forge. This dimwit will show up at the casino and say "I thought they had it harder than this. Did George sleep here?" Friggin pod.

Who do you know that is being faced with this choice? If this refers to our present Presidential race, then you are really nuts.

Thanks for the warning. I know where I won't be on Friday - Valley Forge! Mitt Romney is the phoniest joke on the planet and will surely lose in November. But don't you far right wing nuts worry. He'll be back with a vengeance in 2016. Running as a gay liberal!

I'll be there and support Mr. Romney. I'll do whatever I can to take back the country from the clueless socialist president we have, who would rather play basketball than actually work.
