Christie Explains His Big Tease

As Inquirer Trenton reporter Matt Katz so astutely pointed out in his New Jersey budget analysis, Gov. Christie sure spends a lot of time talking big about national issues. So no wonder nobody believes his protestations that he is not interested in running for president.

In an interview with Michael Shear of the New York Times' Caucus blog, Christie reconciled the two, saying he is interested in influencing the 2012 debate, but it does not follow he's going to be a candidate.
