Beautiful You: Strobing: a new trend in beauty

Strobing is just another word for highlighting without contouring.

Strobing is just another word for highlighting without contouring. It's a technique used to bring out certain features of the face, making you look younger. It is especially great for dry skin, since it brings back luminosity. It's really easy to do and takes less work than contouring. Here's how you can do it:
1. Moisturize and prime your skin, a good base allows for better makeup application.
2. Apply your go-to foundation and concealer for a clean canvas.
3. Strobe! You can use a cream highlighter or a powder. You can even try mixing both.
Apply your choice of highlighter to the middle of the forehead, the cheekbones, the brow bone, the tip of the nose, the Cupid's bow and the center of the chin. Then blend well, use your fingers to push the product into the skin.

For a cream highlighter try: Benefit Cosmetics Watt's Up! Cream-to-powder Highlighter, $30, Ulta.

For powder try: Revlon Highlighting Palette, $10, Drugstore.com.
