...already here in Sydney (in Phillies red!), coming soon to a town near you. After the Eagles win the Super Bowl on Feb. 1 in Tampa, to the musical accompaniment of Bruce Springsteen, what else do we hope for in the New Year? Because someone told me that change is coming.

Sad to say the change that is coming maybe all that's coming....The zillions earmarked for economic recovery will (as a once great President said) trickle down....unfortunately it will end up in my pocket as CHANGE!!!

Here we are in Phila counting down to the New Year. As for me I am holding my hands over my head. didderbops says good riddance to 2008 and the Bush years.... I am wondering what the F happened to 2008. It started off like any normal bush year but ended up being an Obama landslide. i only hope this landslide doesn't turn out to be a catastrophe

Will all of you hard right conservatives who've raised your right hand and sworn to defend the Constitution of the US and obey the lawful orders of the president and your superiors officers please step forward! As a veteran, I really find it offensive when people bash other people about their patriotism and haven't had the cahones to make any personal commitment to serve the rest of us.
