UPDATED: Who said it?

We are America! I don't give a rat's ass if it [torture] helps, we are America! We do not (expletive deleted) torture! We don't do it.
You know the drill. Answer to come. No Googling.
UPDATE: Answer: That wild-eyed radical from the Fox News Channel, Shepherd Smith.

Shep said it. As to whether the US tortures, I'll just say "Abu Ghraib." SpinDentist- Isn't Bagram in Afghanistan -- why are Iraqi guards there? will
Comment removed.- I agree (yikes!) that sending them to Bagram is a pretty lousy idea. Sort through the evidence -- some will be released (as many already have been), and the bad guys (and suspected bad guys) like KSM can be treated just like the Somali pirate, flown to NYC and tried there (the scene of the crime, remember?) Was bringing the pirate before a judge so awful? I don't think so. will
Will, I am not one to mince words on this issue, but you are completely moronic here. Look at how the US treated WWII prisoners for an example. You once again do not cease to amaze a moderate AMERICAN with your worthless re-postings and left logic. I hope this not the case. but history has shown us that the day will come when US jurisprudence will fail, and you will remain woefully silent when we are attacked again (think WTC '93. embassy bombings, USS Cole, and then 9/11/2001.) I just want to be on record for Will to explain his position then, and no, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V do not count as a defensible position. Peter Myers PeterMyers- "I hope this not the case. but history has shown us that the day will come when US jurisprudence will fail" . . . . Pete, Osama couldn't have said it better. Keep up the good work for the jihad.
- Shep is a real patriot. That's all I can say.
- He's right, we don't torture. Never have, never will. jmc
Now that Cheney and Rove have diarrhea of the mouth, let's put these two jokers under oath and question them. I guess Executive Privilege only applies when you're in office. How did people actually vote for Bush/Cheney. What a bunch of rubes. chasing history
