Day 2 of my full-throated defense of the Associated Press, and a free media:
Who said it:
The Associated Press proudly calls itself the "essential global news network" and a "bastion of the people's right to know around the world." But when it comes to the "people's right to know" whether Associated Press employees are cooperating with terrorists overseas, the "essential global news network's" motto is: Bug off.
Hint: Not Eric Holder (or his deputy). Answer to come after 6 .p.m.
UPDATE: Michelle Malkin -- find out more here.
Bloggers note: The newspaper is dragooning me into a 2-hour meeting on...the First Amendment. (You can't make this stuff up, can you?) So light blogging today...although hopefully I gave everyone some food for thought last night.
