What, no worries?!

Cole Hamels is back, baby! The 2008 World Series MVP has pitched 19 consecutive scoreless innings, a career high, and he capped it with a 2-hit gem tonight as the Phillies beat San Francisco. 1-0, showing how the Philadelphians might topple the pitching-rich Giants in a playoff matchup that could well happen in October. Hamels' reversal  of fortune from a disappointing first 2/3 of the season comes as the team's other 2009 major question mark, closer Brad Lidge, seems to have also finally gotten his act together.

So what's the problem? Phillies' fans have shown -- even in a year that they're the defending world champions -- that the complaining life is the only life we know. And right now there's just really not so much to complain about. In a way, you almost have to give thanks for the impending train wreck that is your 2009 Philadelphia Eagles.
