Welcome to the brave new world of Attytood!
You made it!
And so did I, apparently.
As promised, the future of Attytood is now! Today, we officially move away from our old blogging format (Moveable Type for you blog geeks) and into the format now used by all of the Philly.com blogs (Clickability).
I'm not going to sugarcoat this. There's going to be a lot of problems the next few days (and I don't just mean the massive home run that Carlos Delgado hit as I was typing that sentence). Some of you may still be ending up at the old site, for example. You need to be here. If you have any problems with the new site -- and you will -- email me or the site administrators immediately.
The biggest change you'll notice, of course, is that -- as warned -- you now need to register to post comments. It's short-term pain for long-term gain, because this will make it easier to prevent abuse. And that, I noted before, will probably mean fewer comments, but more intelligent ones.
Don't plan on any more posts today. Instead, use this as a day to try out the new system. And good luck, and hang in there. Attytood needs you now more than ever.
- I feel different all of a sudden. Is this the change that Obama's talking about? jmc
Boy, am I going to miss all those numbnut comments. Talking point sleuth

Too bad. The delay wil drive everyone nuts, while your comment is screened and approved. Better sell that book soon Will, the end of days has now hit Attytood. jimmymack
welcome to the world of yellow journalism, willie. fewer comments, more sleep. drubin
If you can't see the other posts until after you post, what's the point? jimmymack
Wow, now I am actually willing to post, put some thought into it, and figure it will be read and responded to like an adult would... am I too optimistic? Bender- I don't know -- you guys were all able to comment...I'm encouraged! will
There is something a bit Orwellian about this, Will. I didn't register, and yet, the site recognized me and allowed me to comment. Brave New Blog. Good luck anyway. Christine
how long will it take some of the wingnuts to figure out how to actually register? Any bets on who makes it here first, Arn or Swifty? Some Boca Dude

Yo, Will, it seems that Attytood dropped off the Philly.com "Blogs" page. SteveMG- Christine -- you probably were already registered for one of the other blogs, or the main site will
Thank you. Will. Although unlike some people, I don't care if Big Brother or Big Sister is watching. I'm never doing anything particularly interesting anyway. Again, good luck. Christine

Posted by legatus " I guess no matter what system you use some people just can't grasp the sophisticated concept that when you're making comments on a blog - if you click "submit" more than once, your comment appears more than once. I likey the new looky BTL
Comment removed.- Hey SteveMG, I got Attytood back on the Blogs page. It disappeared because the RSS feed wasn't set up right, and I fixed that too. So those of you who read Attytood through RSS readers (myself included) can now put the new feed in there.

Thanks, it would have kept me up all night. SteveMG
Looks like a familiar "bunch" in here. Red Wright-Hand- Glad to see the new format.
does the genius still molest his dog? exrepublican
The new site design looks great, but I miss having full article content in the RSS feed, as it was before. Is there any chance this will come back? tonycpsu
