This is amazing: "All in the Family" and Archie Bunker predicted Wayne LaPierre and the NRA roughly 40 years ago -- just watch. The best part is the way the audience laughed uproariously at the ideas that LaPierre proposed in deadpan seriousness last Friday. Maybe future NRA news conferences should come with a laugh track.

- Guns aren't needed to protect school children. What's needed is 20 foot high stone walls topped with barbed wire and metal detectors at all entrances, TSA-style body scans, and bullet proof glass in all windows.

What exactly is "my ilk"? You don't know anything about me, or my views on a wide array of subjects, so claiming you do is really just an illogical attempt to fling a pile of filth at a wall and hope some of it sticks. It's really the last resort of the illogical and irrational to battle phony straw men constructed in the absence of and substantive, factual evidence.
