Wayne LaPierre stole all his ideas from Archie Bunker
This is amazing: "All in the Family" and Archie Bunker predicted Wayne LaPierre and the NRA roughly 40 years ago -- just watch. The best part is the way the audience laughed uproariously at the ideas that LaPierre proposed in deadpan seriousness last Friday. Maybe future NRA news conferences should come with a laugh track.

Jeez Will, only a librul could be such a dope. You have a problem with too much gun violence? Obviously, the solution is to hand our more guns.
What could go wrong? Talking point sleuth
...And you apparently have stolen your entry from The Hollywood Reporter, to whom Norman Lear sent the episode from which you excerpt. Lee17- Holy Toledo. Bunch stole that from Darnell who posted that a couple of days ago. Hey Bunch, think up your own ideas. Come to think of it, Darnell's stuff is much funnier that you ever were you old hack.

Will with no solutions as usual. Libs never do have solutions. They criticize everyone else's ideas. I bet Will doesn't like the idea of having an armed security prson at school because the NRA suggested it. Now if Obama suggested it, Will would be doing cartwheels over the idea. Guns aren't needed to protect school children. What's needed is 20 foot high stone walls topped with barbed wire and metal detectors at all entrances, TSA-style body scans, and bullet proof glass in all windows.
Of course that still leaves exposed the school bus, on which a maniac with a machete could kill 40 kids in 4 minutes if he was so determined. Mr. Smith- In the absence of having any credible, substantive, logical, and reasoned arguments, I suppose sneering sarcasm is one way to convince others of your guiding ethos on this subject. Thank you for that lesson in apathy and vacuity. Mr_Cool
- I can't own a bushmaster rifle, but you guys can murder unborn babies. That makes sense!!! 835union
- Cling to your guns and logical fallacies. I doubt "we guys" are abortion doctors. But you are a potential child killer with your arsenal of murder machines. How do we know you won't snap? What guarantees do we have that you're not a potential raging psychopath? If you own the means to commit mass murder, ipso facto you are a potential mass murderer. I can pretty much guarantee I will never go near an operating room or perform any kind of surgery, therefore I won't be murdering any unborn babies ever. Try again, dummie.
Mr_Cool - But your ilk can murder a baby whenever you choose. I don't murder babies, but I will take care of anyone who would take the life of my wife and kids. And as for your "dummy" comment, it's the last resort of the weak minded to use such "hurtfull" words during a open dialog of thoughts. But I guess thats liberals being sooooo liberal to others thoughts and ideas. 835union
- Sorry, but hasty generalizations and silly straw man arguments by you that fit your narrow and myopic political views are of course very useful when you really cannot construct a logical argument. What exactly is "my ilk"? You don't know anything about me, or my views on a wide array of subjects, so claiming you do is really just an illogical attempt to fling a pile of filth at a wall and hope some of it sticks. It's really the last resort of the illogical and irrational to battle phony straw men constructed in the absence of and substantive, factual evidence. I don't know, I think it's fairly reasonable-- and not the least bit hurtful--to call it dumb. Such irrationality and illogical thinking certainly isn't smart. Mr_Cool
- Thats awesome, I don't know you well enough to say "your ilk" or your views, but you know me well enough to take my rights away from me because of some irrational fear of what some whacko "might" do? It makes complete sense now, libs want everything for them and nothing for anyone else. 835union
