Tragedy on Christmas Eve

POSTED: Monday, December 24, 2012, 1:46 PM

This is tpp tragic for words -- senseless, random gun violence has claimed the lives of two firefighters in upstate New York.

Will must grinning with excitement when he reads these stories. By the way, there were two people killed on Christmas Eve in Philly. I guess that's not "too tragic for words".

You're "concern" about the two people murdered in Philly is disingenuous and transparent to those of us who read your commentary. You accused the author of this blog of being "giddy" after the Newton massacre. Now you're accusing him of "grinning with excitement" over firemen being ambushed in the line of duty. Stop projecting your deranged emotions onto Will Bunch, sicko.

As an aside, I remember you calling yourself an "Independent" during the election. Are you the same kind of "Independent" as Phishface?

Will, you must have missed the memo: a tragedy like this has absolutely nothing to do with the saturation of guns in America. It's those of us who want to do something about that are the problem.

Maybe Wayne Lapierre will suggest that all firefighters have a police escort when entering a burning building.

Another gun goes violently insane and murders people. To make maters worse, this particularly violent gun also committed arson. Or, perhaps it was a man who did?

@wok: Where did I write I was concerned? I didn't. Or maybe you're pointing out Will's disingenuous and transparent post. And yes, I truly believe in some weird way, Will is actually happy about these events. Of course I would expect nothing less than your defense of him based on previous posts. And also yes, I'm an Independent, but I don't know how that figures into things. I just got tired of the hypocrisy on both sides.

Whatever holiday you celebrate, hopefully it's a safe and enjoyable one.

"Did the police arrest the gun?" . . . . Why? I thought that was the job of all the good guns out there that are supposed to keep us safe from all the bad guns.
