@Mr. Smith--The answer to your inane, Scalia inspired question is "no." However the government can and should refuse to pay for medical care for people who eat themselves into morbid obesity, refuse to carry health insurance and then want to stick other people with the bill. The same goes for all the "freedom loving" smokers, non-helmet wearing motorcyclists, you can't make me buy health insurance tea baggers etc., enjoy your freedom don't ask me to pick up the tab.

This is probably the best post I've seen all year. These guys are priceless. Keep government out of my life, unless its to ban abortion or gay marriage. Stop government spending, unless its on military. Cut government programs that dont work, unless its abstinence only education. Protect the constituion, unless its to spy on american citizens without warrants. In the meantime they claim to be victimized by everyone, the lazy poor, government regulation, the liberal media, college elites, gays, minorities...gimme a break!
