We'll get nothing but crickets from batch. It's really odd.. he's always able to respond within minutes when he can make a cheap personal attack, but when it gets down to rational, logical, arguments, he suddenly disappears.

"Do you have any other suggestions?" I'm sure they do, Poli, they can rattle sabres, preach about democracy, shake some fists, and um, thats about it. But they'll sound awfully tough doing so.

RG never claimed that petitioning the UN would be a fruitful endeavor, just that it's one of the few options the US has in terms of a response. Do you have any other suggestions?

Mock Obama all you want, but the current prez watched sports as this conflict escalted. Not a lot of support for a country that has helped us in Iraq. But then again, all we can do it petition the UN or talk tough, since we don't have the troops to fight another war.

"The Messiah's first comment on the war in Georgia was that both sides weren't acting in the "Olympic Spirit". LOL, what a naive, childish dolt." --- You do know that Bush said just about the same exact thing in an interview with Bob Costas, right?

Hey "b.atkinson". You and your "right-wing" friends can drop the Messiah thing. You (and your likes) are the only ones that use terms like that when talking about Obama. Would you actually go read some information and news about the actual conflict, other than Faux News, and how it came about. IF we were to get involved, it would ONLY be diplomacy. Just like Obama talks about. Not the run in, guns a blazin style we currently have. That is why he sounds light years AHEAD of McShame and his "cold war" mentality. All of our previous presidents understood the term "diplomacy", and they used it. Now that you have fallen in love with Bush and his "I'm bigger, so you have to listen to me" attitude, doesn't mean that it's right.

I was pulled over for speeding recently in Georgia. The cop asked for my ID. When I showed him my Russian passport he just left me go with a warning.

Richardson is a sycophantic fool. I sure hope Barack picks him to be his VP.

No "left-wing" anything. So Rice being in Georgia last month had NOTHING to do with anything that has happened?

I thought that his campaign motto was "red, white, blue, I am more American than you". So how are we all Geaorgian's? Another question. Where is Rice in all of this? Isn't her "specialty" Russia?

"And then how much was Georgua egged on to be aggressive...by the United States?"--------Just as I thought. It's George Bush's fault! More evidence that the left-wing "useful idiots" of the cold war years are alive and well.

John McCain 3:am moment, "Hello, what? Bomb them all and do not call me at this hour ever again!" Now, that is ready to lead?

Oh, in that case nevermind...today we are all Russians. As for who started it, you can go in circles -- Georgia claims it was responding to separatist attacks, which could have been provoked by Russia. And then how much was Georgua egged on to be aggressive...by the United States?
