OK, probably not, but could someone explain how this guy went from President-in-Waiting to the keynote speaker at this week's RNC to being completely dropped from that role altogether. Sure, they had to juggle things, but normally you wouldn't cancel the keynote speaker, especially when the embalmed Fred Thompson is still in the lineup.
So what's the backstory here? Is he hacked off about losing out to Sarah Palin?
As I write this comes word they may squeeze him in.
Maybe Giuliani told the GOP he wanted to come dressed in drag, since the GOP Convention is turning out to be one big joke. AHiredGun

Who slandered her, bat boy? Do you even know what slander means? SteveMG

So... umm... why was this post put up? You wrote a paragraph, then found out what you wrote was wrong, and then printed it anyway. Odd. It is almost like you just wanted to print a picture of Rudy in drag as a way of attacking him. (Does anyone, anywhere, hold it against Rudy that he dressed as a woman on a sketch comedy show? Are liberals really this humorless?) bon
Will, LOL! ivb
SteveMG: Andrew Sullivan and the Daily Kos both published multiple stories that could accurately be described as libel of Plain and her daughter. Henry Waxman has accused Palin of being a Pat Buchanan supporter, which could be accurately described as slander of Palin. Take your pick. Obama's people are lying about Governor Palin in print and the spoken word. (When does Obama's new kind of politics start? Is this it?) bon

Wexler said that, not Waxman. And Buchanan himself said it on Hardball. And since when are Andrew Sullivan and Kos "Obama's people"? They do not speak for him in any official capacity. Might want to see what Obama himself had to say about Palin's daughter. RG
Once again, batty avoids a simple question while expressing faux outrage at a nonexistent slight. RG
"OK, probably not, but could someone explain how this guy went from President-in-Waiting to the keynote speaker at this week's RNC to being completely dropped from that role altogether. " Well, I know how he failed to win the nomination. He was at the far left of the GOP, and too much dubious behavior as mayor also came forward. db_cooper
There is a difference between "Kos" and "The Daily Kos". Anyone can log onto the website and post something. The story I believe you're referencing was denounced by most of the people who commented. Politburo
