Nobody can take this away -- not the refs, not Kurt Warner's Jesus....nobody.

Umm, the knock against Kurt Warner's Jesus seems a little unnecessary... ruddjb
Against Minnesota and the Giants, the Eagles defense were lucky not to have to cover a great receiver and got away with letting receivers get behind them because the QBs threw short or the passes were dropped. Having also watched the Arizona receivers the last few weeks I was afraid they would get behind the Eagles defenders often and Kurt would not miss them, nor would they drop passes like the Vikes and Giants. Looks like the Cards' coaching staff got more out of the game films and Thanksgiving Day game than did the Eagles. atp2007
The "Kurt Warner's Jesus" comment also seems to violate your own policy against "juvenile noise". ruddjb
Only Will could make a bad event seem even worse. You must have been beat up a lot as a kid. philadelphialegend- I feel beaten up after watching that game. DJR
- Being a Philly sports Phanatic ever since that magical night Rick Wise no-noed the reigning champ Reds (and swatted 2 out of Riverfront Stadium to boot), as it was narrated to me by By and Harry through a 5 dollar transistor radio I had just bought with precious earnings delivering the Inquirer to my quiet South Jersey neighborhood at the ripe age of 11, let me just say this - I love you Philly. I love you. There's no better sports city in the world.
- There's nothing wrong with athletes and their religious faith, especially those who call on it to do good works off the field. It does bother me when an athlete claims that Jesus had something to do with him winning a football game. A number of Eagles are devout Christians, too -- I don't think the Lord had a dog in this hunt. will

there is no such thing as jesus iverson157
Larry Fitzgerald is good, and a heckuva guy. This hurts, but we were playing with the house's money. So be thankful that we got as far as we did. Neither the Cards or the Eagles can beat whoever comes out of the AFC. And thanks, Will, for taking a shot at Jesus. Wait, Jesus isn't Obama? Who would know from reading your work? BlairW
or santa clause... iverson157
