- Palin wants her 17 yo daughter to have the baby. Fine, but how is that going to play with the religious right and the family values crowd? Sholdn't she have told mccain before he selected her and, if she did, why did mccain hide it? Her message that she would not be in favor of abortion even if her daughter were raped isn't going to fly with mainstream America. If, say, mumia or some child molester somehow got out of jail and raped one of your daughters or wife and they got pregnant, do you want someone telling you and your daughter/spouse that you don't have a choice?
