We now know that Portland has a paucity of things to do on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

This is obviously good news for the Giuliani campaign.

I hope those folks in Portland will be the first in the country to volunteer to drop their thermostats next winter, per their magical leader's wishes. As for me, Barack can kiss my behind. When the winter winds howl I'm going to keep warm. At least until he sics the temperature police on me.

And not only that, but I intend to eat anything I damn well please. That is, until Barack has the food police remove it from my local supermarket.

Don't look now, batboy and Jones, but the black helicopters are on their way too.

Truly amazing how the great "patriots," you know, the defend\ers of the American way, never fail to get on the hate train and spread the hate.

75,000 Oregonians gather to support a candidate they believe in and it's not evidence of the power of our Democracy, but evidence of extremists who will elect a President that will empower "food police."

The mind of a Republican sycophant is truly a wonder of nature.

"I think Steve is implying that the Messiah is all talk but no action." How in the world do you get that idea from what I said? Don't you know the food and themostat police are riding on the same little black UN helicopters that used to fly around in Idaho once upon a time taking away everybody's guns back when Bill Clinton was President?

Hmmmmm, see how easy it is to abandon your country when it asks you to sacrifice? There's your flagpin patriotism for ya!

The Obama toadies are now telling us that because we don't think their magical nominee should preach to us about what we eat and how warm or cool we should be in our homes we're unpatriotic and abandoning our country. Wow!

Actually we're laughing at how paranoid you people are. How's a president gonna tell you what to eat? Are you even remotely connected to reality?

Increase fuel efficiency standards, alternative energies, market forces. Nowhere in there did he say he'd restrict those actions, just telling the truth that we can't keep doing so at current prices.

I love the way the Barack toadies constantly feel the need to explain and interpret his remarks.-------Tell me RG, what is there about the following words that are unclear to you? 'We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,' Obama said.
