Occasionally, hecklers are right
Especially when this is what they tried to tell President Obama in New Hampshire today:
"Over 4000 peaceful protesters have been arrested. While bankers continue to destroy the American economy. You must stop the assault on our 1st amendment rights. Your silence sends a message that police brutality is acceptable. Banks got bailed out. We got sold out."
Of course, Obama had no problem speaking out against police misconduct in a matter involving his friend Skip Gates which -- while not to trivialize it -- was of much less national significance than the assault on civil liberties taking place from UC-Davis to Zuccotti Park. Now when it really matters, he's got nothing left in the tank. Weak.
UPDATE: A note was also passed to the president after his speech, with the same message -- photographed above, by way of Greg Mitchell.
