No blood in ants
UPDATE: Now they tell us!

- Will, it looks dire--but there is no way that business will leave Philadelphia without a major newspaper. Of course, they might roll back to just one paper instead of two.
I am sure that cup of yours in the photo will come in handy on the street corner. Merican
6:35AM June 6th 2008 NO MENTION OF JUNE 6TH D-DAY.. speaks volumns mookie- I suggest moving the papers right of center politically. jmc
- McClatchy, per the Phase II Report: "Iran may have used a small cabal of officials in the Pentagon and in Vice President Dick Cheney's office to feed bogus intelligence on Iraq and Iran to senior policymakers in the Bush administration who were eager to oust the Iraqi dictator. Iran, which was a mortal enemy of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and fought a bloody eight-year war with Iraq during his reign, has been the primary beneficiary of U.S. policy in Iraq, where Iranian-backed groups now run much of the government and the security forces."......................And as I noted yesterday, Maliki is off to "appease" Tehran in spite of us. But I guess we'd rather insult WW2 Vets by using D-Day as a prop to trash Bunch....speaks 'volumns'.
Ouch, Will. db_cooper
maybe Obama will nationalize the newspapers since we all "need" them. shock89

It could be the Phillies fault. Hitting all those homers has created a negative cash flow for the DN home run payoff. I guess the flying pigs are starting to crash. Or maybe the Obama campaign can float you a loan, since you seem to be a leisure subsidary of his organization. jimmymack
Ants don't have blood in the traditional sense, as most insects do not have a closed circulatory system. But they do have a fluid called hemolymph that functions very much like blood (transporting oxygen, nutrients, immune system components, etc.) Politburo
Internet is killing you guys. And someone, for the love of all that is holy, tell Tierney to instruct the editors to halt running stories and photos of Bonnie. Seriously, its beyond a joke. RG
As soon as Tierney took the "pledge", the paper was doomed. What owner would take a pledge to not have any influence on his company's product? Insane. The other suitor for the papers, Democrat billionaire limousine liberal sugar daddy Ron Burkle would have taken no such pledge - and the liberal editorial boards and unions would not have asked him to, since they are all on the same side. Personally I won't spend one time for either paper as long as they have no balance on their editorial board and employ Democrat party shills like Will The Shill Bunch, Dick Polman, et al. MiddleNameHussein
Hey jmc.. maybe you didn't revisit yesterday's thread -- Please show one example of anyone on the left defending an ideological position with polling data. It doesn't even have to be an elected official, or a "pundit". Find any looney on DU, a crackpot calling into AA, anything.. just one link, that's all. Politburo
But they do have a fluid called hemolymph....Now Politburo, attytood is not in the business of dealing with facts or of research. Please stick to emotional rants directed at BushCo, fawning over Obama, or grassroots populism. E Plebnista
