In soccer, as most of you don't know, the superstar on a team is often awarded the No. 10. If you're of a certain age, you might remember this guy, for example.

Well, it looks like the Eagles have their No. 10!

DeSean Jackson has just exploded into the National Football League. True, true, he was a beneficiary of the godawful St. Louis Rams. The idea that he will  be able to do this every game, every week, is folly. But this kid was obvious, and an obvious factor, every time he stepped on the field today in the Eagles' 38-3 demolition of the Rams.

What was already a runaway bandwagon of public sentiment in favor of Jackson just became an unleashed rocket.

By the way, there's another Philadelphia sports team worthy of discussion but I am not able to mention them right now.

She's not the reformer she claims to be and she would advocate for policies that would be harmful for America and especially for women. She also lied several times in her first speech to the American people -- eBay, "Bridge to Nowhere," earmarks.Do you consider that a "sleazy attack on the nice lady and her children"? I'm sure you do.

Oh Will, you mascaraed as a "journalist" when it is a convenient cover to slime Republicans. Where is your journalistic concern for Obama's lack of candor about such topics as his Jeremiah Write connection, Rezco connections, Ayers connections, and especially his muslim connections? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zQK_EhDhZQ

Hey 24601, if you expect people to take you seriously at least learn how to spell... another child left behind...

There is a great crop of rookies this year. That Quinten Demps also did very well, especially on those two great save plays on the punt coverage unit.

This may be the stupidest thing you guys have ever come up with. By you're logic, you're conceding that the U.S. faked the 9/11 attacks, because Rumsfeld misspoke once and said the Pentagon was attacked by a missile. People who speaks 8 hours a day for a living make mistakes all the time -- Tom Ridge just called the GOP nominee "John Bush." If you think Obama is a Muslim, you're going to need better proof than that. Jeez.

Just like people who type eight hours a day end up saying "you're" instead of "your" and "speaks" instead of "speak."

I just call them as I see them 24601, and if you expect to have your comments taken seriously at least spell check them, otherwise you end up looking like dubba...AKA moron.

Oh Will, I tried to make a comment about Mr. Polman's article today under your Walter Reed post. However, I made the mistake of using his FIRST name in the familiar (not Richard). Please do something about your screening software. It is WAY too sensitive and is keeping out meritorious comments.

Alfred - please understand that Will is hyper-sensitive. He gets this way when he procastinates and doesnt work on his book.
