This has nothing to do with Barack Obama -- it's Gitmo again:

WASHINGTON — The military trainers who came to Guantánamo Bay in December 2002 based an entire interrogation class on a chart showing the effects of “coercive management techniques” for possible use on prisoners, including “sleep deprivation,” “prolonged constraint,” and “exposure.”

What the trainers did not say, and may not have known, was that their chart had been copied verbatim from a 1957 Air Force study of Chinese Communist techniques used during the Korean War to obtain confessions, many of them false, from American prisoners.

The recycled chart is the latest and most vivid evidence of the way Communist interrogation methods that the United States long described as torture became the basis for interrogations both by the military at the base at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, and by the Central Intelligence Agency.

For some reason, I feel oddly compelled to note here that Vice President Cheney is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life.

To defeat our enemies, apparently we must become them...

How about this for an amazing co-incidence...Raymond Shaw's step-father was named Senator Iselin...and Coot McCain's "alleged lobbyist/paramour was named Vicky Iselin! Of course the last passenger to board the airplane in The High and The Mighty(Ernest Gann) was named Humphrey Agnew.

Things should have improved when harold and Kumar got down there. Oh well. Just another thing for Teamobama to put on the things-to-do-list.

I'm going to make a chart about the effects of reading a blog with regurgitated New York Times stories about how horrible Gitmo is.

Hey, jmc, if gitmo isn't so bad, take your summer vacation there, but tell them your name is jailil muhhamed cuhmari and tell them you want the deluxe treatment. Send postcards.

McSame IS the Manchurian candidate!

That's right Fred. He's really a Panamanian terrorist operative bent on destroying the US military by advocating 100 more years in Iraq (or Iran or Afganistan or Pakistan etc). What? You say our military is already in trouble because of what Bush (McCain's mentor) dragged us into? Never mind....

Terrorists want to kill every last one of us. McCain will stop them at every chance they get and Obama will give them Constitutional rights and remove those annoying US soldiers.
