Maddow 'bout you
What happens when you take a blogger with a face for radio and a voice for...the Internet and put him on national television? Tune in tonight when Your Blogger appears live* on MSNBC's "Rachel Maddow Show" (9 Eastern, rebroadcast at 11) to talk about "Tear Down This Myth: How the Reagan Legacy Has Distorted Our Politics and Haunts Our Future." Based on my earlier experiments with TV appearances, anything can happen!
That's not all -- I'm also the scheduled guest today for NPR's "Fresh Air" with Terry Gross (not live, which means they've been working overtime in the editing room). That's a national show which runs here in Philadelphia on WHYY (90.9 FM) at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., but elsewhere check local listings (it also will become available on a podcast.)
I'm looking forward to reading more citizen, um, reviews of my unique vocal stylings.
* Barring some major news event, like Obama announcing he forgot to pay taxes for three years or Dick Cheney personally finding the WMD in Iraq, now that he has some free time, or an unexpected Jessica Simpson weight loss, or gain.
Love the Maddow hate fest here. Rather refreshing to see the right worked up in a lather similar to the one lefties feel when they see horse face on the TV. They can have their Coulter- much more mannish. Rachel finds a way to belittle people without coming across as hostile- maybe it's because she thinks before she speaks, or doesn't say blatantly racist or caustically violent things just to sell books or make headlines for being the "victim" of "liberal" newspaper editors.
